Hey there!

My name is Laura Wilkinson, owner of FinePixelss Photography. My handsome husband is seen in the photos above. We own a pretty Aussie Collie dog named Jozie and a cat Leo who is a Siberian forest cat. Aren't they adorable?!

Since I was a little girl, I loved to capture nature with my macro canon Powershot. I was always the creative girl capturing leaves falling or resting softly on the forest floor, or a laughing friend across the room capturing their candid side. From there I grew comfortable taking photos of people on school trips and school events. I was known as the school photographer through most of middle school and high school and now I get to call it my part time job.

Some things to know about me: I am a vintage collector, all things blue porcelain and old patterns. That also includes the comfiest grandpa sweaters, thrifting, and antique shop hopping. I am in love with Winnie the Pooh, an animal lover, people lover too ( I see the best in everyone around me), adore kids but don't have any of my own yet.

To say I am grateful for the opportunity to capture people's favourite moments in time is an understatement. There is such beauty in seeing someone wiping a tear from their face as their daughter walks down the aisle at her dream wedding. There is such a wonder in seeing someone become confident in front of my camera even though they say they are not photogenic.

There is such a sweetness in their air while a newborn gives their biggest yawn and wiggles their little toes. To capture a family's beloved pet in the prime of their life so that their personality is captured and frozen in time in a frame. What a privilege to be alive today.
